The upcoming 2023 Tata Nexon facelift is just a few weeks away from its market launch, and ahead of that, the model was captured on camera during its TVC shoot. This marks the first time we get a clear image of the updated Nexon, albeit focused on the rear section. One immediate observation is the introduction of a new Blue color scheme. The rear profile appears notably flatter compared to its predecessor. The reflectors, now integrated into the C-shaped protrusions, have been slightly repositioned. The newly redesigned taillamps are connected via a LED light bar. The front fascia is also undergoing comprehensive revisions, including newly designed headlamps, new LED DRLs, a slimmer grille, and tweaked bumper. Notably, the headlamps and fog lamps are situated beneath the prominent C-shaped protrusions, both featuring a blacked-out finish. The new Nexon will also sport newly designed dual-tone alloy wheels.
The interior is set to receive significant feature upgrades as well. The 2023 Tata Nexon facelift will feature a two-spoke steering wheel reminiscent of the Curvv, with an illuminated logo at its center. A new climate control panel, updated gear selector lever, purple upholstery, a new single-piece fully digital instrument cluster, and leatherette cladding on the lower dashboard contribute to its fresh and appealing atmosphere.
On the engine front, the new Nexon will continue to offer the 1.2L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engine options. A noteworthy addition is the introduction of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The subcompact SUV will also be available with a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, and a 6-speed AMT transmission. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine could be paired with all four gearboxes. While the 5-speed manual transmission will only be offered with the entry-level petrol trims, the higher trims may exclusively feature the new 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.
The 2023 Tata Nexon facelift is expected to hit the market by mid-September.
