One of the most highly anticipated bike launches of the year is undoubtedly the new-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350, scheduled to hit the market on August 30th, 2023. While the Chennai-based motorcycle manufacturer has yet to unveil the variants, features, and specifications of the new model, we have obtained a scan of its brochure that reveals intriguing design and engine details. Engine Specifications:
According to the leaked scan, the new 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will be equipped with a new 350cc J-series engine, capable of producing 20.2bhp of power at 6100rpm and 27Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. This engine is the same as the one powering the RE Meteor 350.
The new J-series engine from Royal Enfield is renowned for its reduced noise and vibration levels, along with more efficient valve timings. It is described as a “unique sounding long stroke engine,” offering improved refinement across the entire rev range. Power transmission will be handled by a new 5-speed gearbox. Suspension, Brakes, and Tyres:
The suspension setup of the new Bullet 350 will consist of telescopic front forks and twin gas-charged rear shocks. Both the front and rear axles will feature single disc brakes, with the option of a dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). The wider front (100-section) and rear (120-section) tyres will ensure enhanced road grip.
Features:
The leaked brochure reveals that the 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will feature a lengthy single seat (measuring 805mm) with a new grab rail. The wider seat is expected to provide greater comfort compared to the current unit. The bike will also be equipped with a digital-analog instrument cluster incorporating an LCD information panel and a redesigned handlebar for improved ergonomics, along with a USB port.
Variants & Features:
The new Bullet model lineup will be available in three variants – Military (Red and Black), Standard (Black and Maroon), and Black Gold. The base Military variant boasts a solid color tank, graphics with decals, black components, chrome engine, and a single-channel ABS with a rear drum brake.
The feature list of the mid-range Standard variant includes chrome and gold 3D badging, gold pinstriping, chrome engine and mirrors, body-colored components and tank, dual-channel ABS, and a rear disc brake.
The top variant features a tank with a combination of matte black and gloss, Coppa and Gold 3D badging, Coppa pinstriping, blacked-out engine and components, dual-channel ABS, and a rear disc brake.
