Hyundai Motor India has revealed ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) and safety features of the new-generation Verna that’s slated to launch on 21st March 2023. The sedan’s Level 2 ADAS suite offers features such as adaptive cruise control with stop and go, blind spot collision avoidance assist, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, blind spot collision warning, lane departure warning, lane following assist, driver attention warning, high beam assist, leading vehicle departure alert, and rear cross traffic collision avoidance assist.

The safety kit of the new 2023 Hyundai Verna includes hill start assist, electronic stability control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), 6 airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system and electronic parking brake. New Hyundai Verna Touchscreen

The carmaker has already revealed that the new 2023 Hyundai Verna is bigger than its predecessor. Its overall length, width and height stand at 4535mm, 1765mm and 1475mm respectively. The sedan has a luggage capacity of 528-litres, which is more than before. The new-generation model lineup will be spread across four trims – EX, S, SX and SX (O).

On the engine front, the all-new Verna offers a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5L turbo petrol engine making power worth 115bhp and 160bhp respectively. The naturally aspirated gasoline motor can be had with the lower variants and the higher variants gets turbo-petrol unit. A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard across the model lineup. While the naturally aspirated petrol unit comes with an optional CVT gearbox, the turbo-petrol motor gets a DCT automatic gearbox option.
