New 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 250 – What We Know So Far

Bajaj Auto is ready to give a generation change to its highly-popular Pulsar range this year (possibly by September 2021). Recently, a heavily camouflaged prototype of the new Bajaj Pulsar 250 was spotted testing in the country. Though, one can notice the new styling and slightly revised ergonomics of the bike. The spotted test mule appears bigger than the Pulsar NS200. The new 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 250 might also receive new LED lighting system. You can also notice the split seats and upswept side exhaust.

One of the major changes is likely to come in the form of a new engine. Similar to the existing Pulsar NS200, the 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 250 might get an oil-cooled, 4-valve fuel-injected motor. While official power figure of the new unit is yet to be revealed, it might deliver power close to 24bhp. Its torque output will be higher than the Pulsar NS200.

Rumor also has it that the new 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 250 might share its platform and engine with the KTM 250 Duke. The latter comes with a 248.8cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that’s good enough for 30bhp and 24Nm. However, Bajaj might detune the motor for the achieving higher fuel efficiency with the new Pulsar 250. Read – 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 Price and Key Features

The braking power comes from the front and rear disc brakes. The bike might get dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system)as a standard fitment along with the slipper clutch.

In terms of features, the new Bajaj Pulsar 250 will continue to offer digital speedometer and odometer, an analogue tachometer. With the generation, the streetfigter might receive Bluetooth or mobile connectivity features.
