Hero MotoCorp is poised to reintroduce the legendary Karizma motorcycle brand on August 29, 2023. The motorcycle is making a comeback in a completely revamped form, boasting a novel engine and contemporary features. Dubbed the Hero Karizma XMR 210, this model is projected to carry a price tag of around Rs 2 lakh, aiming to rival the Yamaha YZF R15 V4 and Royal Enfield Bullet 350. The distribution will take place through Hero’s premium dealership network, sharing space with the new Harley-Davidson X440. Leaked information provides a glimpse into the new Karizma XMR 210, showcasing a fully digital instrument cluster that exhibits a plethora of data, including trip meter readings, speedometer, odometer, gear position indicator, tachometer, and more. Moreover, this unit will boast seamless smartphone integration, Bluetooth connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation capabilities.
At the heart of the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR 210 will reside a 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This motor generates an impressive 25bhp of maximum power and a torque of 30Nm. Its foundation rests on a trellis frame, accompanied by conventional telescopic front forks and a monoshock suspension at the rear. The design and style of the Hero Karizma XMR 210 will be an entirely fresh departure from its predecessor.
