Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara went on sale in India in September 2022. The midsize SUV is currently the second top-selling model in its segment, beating the Kia Seltos and Toyota Hyryder. The Maruti Grand Vitara model lineup is available in 11 variants, spread across six trims – Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha, Zeta+ and Alpha+. Prices of the SUV start from Rs 10.70 lakh and go up to Rs 19.95 lakh. The automatic variant costs between Rs 13.60 lakh – Rs 19.95 lakh and the Delta CNG and Zeta CNG variants are priced at Rs 13.05 lakh and Rs 14.86 lakh respectively. While its strong hybrid, higher variants are in-high demand, several customers are opting the entry-level Sigma variant and customize/modify it as per their preferences. One of its interesting modifications emerged on the web, which is done by Vig Auto Accessories. The customized Maruti Grand Vitara, which has been named as the “Grand Ryder,” features sporty 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. It gets Maruti Suzuki’s genuine door visors, roof rails and lower window garnish.
Interior is the major highlight of the modified Grand Vitara (Grand Ryder). It appears quite sporty with the dual-tone black and cranberry red leather seat upholstery. The seat covers have a diamond-quilted pattern. You can also notice the dual-tone doors with cranberry red leather finish in the middle section of the door cards, caranberry red leather wrapped dashboard and high-gloss black surrounds on the window switch. The modified Maruti Grand Vitara has a customized 10.4-inch infotainment system with HD reverse camera.
The entry-level Sigma variant of the SUV comes with the 1.5L mild hybrid and manual gearbox combination. On the feature front, it offers a 4.2-inch TFT display in instrument cluster, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel, steering mounted controls, auto air conditioning, rear AC vents, rear centre armrest, dual airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, electronic stability programe with hill hold assist, Isofix mounts and 3-point seatbelts for all seats.
