The MG ZS EV is available in 3 trim levels – Excite, Exclusive & Exclusive Pro – and are now priced at Rs 22.88 lakh, Rs 24.99 lakh and Rs 25.89 lakh respectively.
MG Motor India had launched the ZS EV in our market in 2020. The SUV has received positive response from car buyers, as it becomes one of the most popular E-SUVs on sale in India. Last year, MG introduced the facelifted ZS EV with a bigger battery pack and loads of new features. In order to celebrate 100th anniversary, MG Motor India has slashed the prices of the ZS EV.
The MG ZS EV has received a massive price of up to Rs 2.3 lakh, which should make it more appealing to buyers. This electric SUV is available in 3 trim levels – Excite, Exclusive and Exclusive Pro. The base variant is now priced at Rs 22.88 lakh, which is Rs 50,000 less than before.
The MG ZS EV Exclusive variant receives the biggest price cut of Rs 2.3 lakh. This variant now costs Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom). MG has slashed price of the top-spec Exclusive Pro variant by Rs 2 lakh, and is now priced at Rs 25.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The Exclusive & Exclusive Pro trims are offered with Iconic Ivory Interior finish option.
The ZS EV is equipped with ADAS Level 2 and comes loaded with a set of safety and convenience features. The ADAS tech offers features like speed assist system, lane function, rear-drive assist, adaptive cruise control, front collision warning and others. In a press statement, MG claims that the “electric SUV has been driven over 25 crore kilometers and has saved around three crore kilograms in CO2 emissions.”
The MG ZS EV is packed with a 50.3kWh battery pack and a front-axle mounted electric motor. The electric motor is rated at 174bhp and 280Nm. It is claimed to offer a certified range of 461km on a single charge. The ZS EV rivals the Hyundai Kona EV, Tata Nexon EV Max and the Mahindra XUV400.
