MG Motor India has officially announced that it felicitate Indian athlete Bhavina Patel, who won Silver medal at the Tokyo Paralympics, with a new SUV. Rajeev Chaba, President & Managing Director, Rajeev Chaba has made an official announcement on twitter.
MG takes it association with Vadodara Marathon a notch higher, reinforcing its commitment to local community causes, prime amongst which is the Divyang Run for the specially-abled.
Congratulating Bhavina on her big win, Rajeev Chaba, President & Managing Director, MG Motor India, tweeted, “It would be our honor and privilege to gift MG car to Bhavinaben on her return. In the meantime, we would explore the right attachments.”
MG Motor has been the title sponsor of the Vadodara Marathon since MG entered India and set up its manufacturing facility in Halol. The company hasn’t reveal the name of the SUV to be offered to Bhavina. It is expected that MG could gift the soon-to-be-launched the Astor mid-sized SUV to silver medalist.
MG Motors has recently announced its new personal Assistant system, which will be offered on the Astor SUV. More importantly, MG Motor’s personal AI assistant is powered with the voice of Paralympic Athlete and khel Ratna Awardee Dr. Deepa Malik.
MG Astor will be equipped with several segment-first features such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), 360 degree camera, multiple in-car services, digital instrument console and many more. The ADAS offers features such as autonomous emergency braking system, ESP, forward collision warning, speed limit assist, adaptive cruise control, rear drive assist, blind spot detection, lane keeping assist and automatic high-beam lighting system.
