TVS Motor Company has finally launched its updated Apache RR 310 flagship supersport bike in the country. The new 2021 TVS Apache RR 310 has been made available at Rs 2,59,500, thus making it around Rs 4,510 more expensive than the previous model that was priced at Rs 2,54,990. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom. The company is offering two component kits – Dynamic and Race along with a new Race Replica Graphics colour scheme and Red alloy wheel option – that will cost an additional Rs 12,000, Rs 5,000, Rs 4,500 and Rs 1,500 respectively.

The Dynamic kit includes a fully adjustable KYB inverted front fork with 20-step compression damping, 15mm preload adjustment and 20-step rebound damping. The rear suspension system has a 10-step preload adjustment and 20-step rebound damping. It also gets a brass-coated drive chain with anti-rust protection. The Race kit consists of a tucked down handlebar kit and revised geometry and race ergo foot rest assembly for higher lean angles. The knurled foot pegs provide superior grip. It has new race muffler and offers racier exhaust note. The bikemaker offers a new livery inspired by TVS’ racing colours called Race Replica Graphic scheme. The new shade celebrates TVS’ 39 years of racing experience. It has distinctive Blue, Red and White TVS racing colours. One can also opt for the customized red alloy wheels. The new Apache RR 310 offers four riding modes for different riding conditions – Sport, Track, Urban and Rain.
For power, the new 2021 TVS Apache RR 310 uses the same reverse-inclined 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The motor pushes out a peak power of 34PS with 27.3Nm of torque in Sport and Track mode and 25.8PS with 25Nm in Urban and Rain mode. The new Apache RR 310 comes with the same 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. The bike offers a top speed of 160kmph in Sport and Track mode and 125kmph in Urban and Rain modes.
Its braking system includes the same front and rear disc brakes with ABS (anti-lock braking system). The bike offers a fuel tank capacity of 11-litres. It continues to feature the twin-pod headlamp, a full fairing, set-up saddle and a side slung exhaust. Based on the split trellis frame, the new 2021 TVS Apache RR 310 gets a new Dynamic engine rev limit indicator that shows the engine temperature and RPM parameters. There is also a day trip meter and overspeed indicator. Other key features include a 5-inch full-colour TFT instrument cluster, TVS’ SmartXonnect technology and new GTT (glide through technology).
