Maruti Invicto Prices Start at Rs 24.79 Lakh – Features, Mileage, Specs

Maruti Suzuki Invicto, the first re-badged Toyota from the Indo-Japanese automaker, has finally gone on sale in India. Based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, the premium MPV is being offered in two trims Zeta+ with both 7 and 8-seats layouts and Alpha+ trim with 7-seats configuration only. The top-end Alpha+ 7-seater variant costs Rs 28.42 lakh, the Zeta+ 7-seater and 8-seater versions are priced at Rs 24.79 lakh and Rs 24.84 lakh, respectively.

It is worth noting that the Maruti Invicto is the most expensive model in Maruti Suzuki’s Indian product portfolio and is exclusively available through the Nexa dealership network. It’s the 8th addition to the company’s Nexa premium range.

Maruti Invicto Features

To distinguish it from the Innova Hycross, Maruti Suzuki has given the Invicto a distinct design. It features a Grand Vitara-like grille with two chrome slats that extend into the headlamps. The MPV’s front end has also been revised with newly-designed headlamps, smaller LED DRLs, and a tweaked bumper. Additionally, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto sports differently designed dual-tone alloy wheels and new taillamp inserts. Differentiating its interior is the all-black theme with champagne gold accents. The steering wheel features Suzuki’s logo. However, it is disappointing that the Maruti Invicto does not come equipped with the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite or a premium JBL audio system.

On the other hand, the MPV does offer features such as a panoramic sunroof, a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, 50 Suzuki Connect features, memory function for the driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, 360 degree monitor, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, paddle shifters, a powered tailgate, 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability program, and more.

Powering the new Maruti Invicto is a 2.0L Atkinson cycle petrol engine paired with an “intelligent electric hybrid system”, creating a strong hybrid setup. This combination offers a claimed power output of 184bhp.

Maruti Invicto Mileage

One must note that the Invicto does not feature the 2.0L petrol engine from the Toyota Innova Hycross’ entry-level variants. The new Maruti MPV comes with an e-Drive gearbox, making it the first Maruti Suzuki car in India to offer an automatic transmission exclusively. Its claimed mileage figure is 23.24kmpl. The MPV can do 0 to 100kmph in 9.5 seconds, as claimed by Maruti Suzuki.
