The XUV700, which is still high in demand, has been observing a waiting period of up to 12 months in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Jaipur, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Chandigarh, Patna and Indore. Its waiting period is up to 10 months in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Surat, Coimbatore and Faridabad. Buyers in Kolkata can get the SUV within 6-8 months.

In January 2022, Mahindra’s new flagship SUV registered its highest-ever sales of 4,119 units. The automaker retailed 1,370 units, 3,407 units, 3,207 units and 3,980 units in September, October, November and December 2021 respectively. A total of 16,083 units of the XUV700 have been sold till date.
Mahindra XUV700 Pending Orders
According to a fresh media report, around 84,000 buyers are waiting for delivery of their XUV700. The company has been experiencing severe shortage of semiconductors that’s causing the delay and a long waiting period.
SUV Details
At present, the new Mahindra SUV comes in the price range of Rs 12.95 lakh – Rs 22.89 lakh. Prices of its automatic variants start from Rs 16.57 lakh and go up to Rs 22.04 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom. In the latest Global NCAP crash test, the XUV700 scored 5-stars for adult safety and 4-star for child safety. The model comes with several best-in-class and segment-first features such as ADAS (advanced driver assistance system), twin 10.25-inch displays, personalized safety alert, Sony 3D sound system, smart pilot assist, AdrenoX technology with 60+ connected apps.
