Mahindra & Mahindra has officially started accepting bookings for its new XUV700 SUV. The automaker has already revealed that the first 25,000 customers will get the vehicle at the introductory prices. Test drives of the Mahindra XUV700 will be conducted in a phased manner.
In the initial phase, it will be available for test drives across eight cities including Jaipur, Nashik, Cochin, Kanpur, Calicut, Chochin, Patna and Cuttack. The XUV700 has been made available in two trims (MX and AX) packed with the segment’s most powerful petrol and diesel engines.

Prices of the 5-seater version start from Rs 11.99 lakh and go up to Rs 17.19 lakh. The 7-seater model is being offered within the price range of Rs 17.59 lakh – Rs 19.79 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom. The company is also offering an optional Luxury pack on the AX7 automatic and AX7 AWD diesel AT that cost an additional Rs 1.8 lakh and Rs 1.3 lakh respectively.
Based on the new monocoque platform, the Mahindra XUV700 measures 4695mm in length, 1890mm in width and 1755mm in height with a wheelbase of 2750mm. While its lower variants come with 17-inch steel wheel and diamond cut alloy wheels options, the top-end AX7 trim has been assembled with bigger 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
The new Mahindra SUV is one of the most feature loaded vehicles in its segment. In fact, it offers a bunch of segment-first features including ADAS (advanced driving assistance system), auto booster headlamps, in-built Alexa functionality and heated ORVMs. The XUV700 offers the segment’s largest panoramic sunroof called ‘Skyroof’.
Some of its other key features include a 10.25-inch dual screen setup, AdrenoX technology with 60+ connected apps, wireless charger, wired/wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic emergency braking, personalized safety alert, smart pilot assist, Sony 3D sound system and many more.
