Mahindra XUV700 Accessories & Merchandise Details Leaked

Mahindra had launched the 5-seater version of the XUV700 SUV in August 2021. The company only revealed the prices of the MX and AX series of the 5-seater SUV. Prices of the rest of the variants including the 7-seater model will be announced in October 2021. The Mahindra XUV700 is offered in two categories – MX Series and AX Series. The later comes in 3 versions – AX3, AX5 and AX7.

Mahindra had announced the prices of the MX petrol & diesel, AX3 petrol and AX5 petrol versions. Leaked reports claim that the Mahindra XUV700 range will comprise of 34 variants with manual and automatic gearbox options. The SUV is already feature-loaded, as it is equipped with several segment-first features. However, Mahindra will also offer a wide range of accessories and merchandise with the SUV.

Ahead of the official price announcement, accessories and merchandise list of the XUV700 has been leaked on the web. The SUV will be offered with a Satin Chrome Kit with parts has a premium satin finish. It offers additional chrome trims for the bumpers, outside rear view mirrors, wheel arches and side mouldings. Adding to it, the satin finish will be given to the roof racks, rear bumper protectors, anti-theft wheel bolds and body covers. Mahindra will also give side steps as accessories.

For interiors, Mahindra will offer a wide range of customisation options to customers. The company will offer seat covers and a comfort kit. The comfort kit will include cushions, neck rests, seatbelt pads, a wide range of floor mats and pedal covers. It will also come with Illuminated scuff plates as an accessory. Owners can also buy XUV700-branded merchandise with features like T-shirts, caps, jackets, duffle bags, backpacks and coffee mugs.

The new Mahindra XUV700 will be offered with two engine options – a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol and a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel. The diesel engine offers two states of tunes – the MX trim in 153bhp and 360Nm of torque, and 182bhp and 420Nm of torque. The petrol engine is capable of producing 197bhp and 380Nm of torque. The diesel engine will be offered with 4 driving modes – Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom. These drive modes are claimed to alter performance and steering response.

The 5-seater XUV700 will be positioned against the likes of the Tata Harrier, MG Hector, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and the Skoda Kushaq. On the other hand, the 7-seater model will rival the Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar and the MG Hector Plus.
