Mahindra XUV400 Exclusive Edition Go For Auction On 10th Feb

The one-off Mahindra XUV400, a bespoke edition of the electric SUV, will be auctioned on 10th February 2023. Interested buyers can register for online auction that will start at 11am on 26 January and run to 31st January. The winning bidder will receive delivery of the bespoke XUV400 by Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group. The bidding amount will be donated for a social cause and distributed among the Mahindra Sustainability Award winners.

The bespoke XUV400 has been co-designed by Pratap Bose, Chief Design Officer at Mahindra, and fashion designer Rimzim Dadu. The model has been pained in a special Blue colour and has copper accents at the front. You can notice Blue highlight around Mahindra’s twin-peaks logo, bonnet integrated badge, C-pillar and boot lid.

Interior layout and features of the Mahindra XUV400 Exclusive edition are similar to the regular model. Though, it gets a new upholstery with copper stitching and ‘Rimzim Dadu x Bose’ badging on the headrests and the rear armrest.

Mahindra’s new XUV400 electric SUV can be had with either a 34.5kWh or a 39.4kWh battery pack. Both motors power an electric motor mounted on the front axle. The e-motor delivers a claimed power of 150bhp and 310Nm of torque. It can do 0 to 100kmph in 8.3 seconds and attain a top speed of 150kmph. The electric SUV comes with three driving modes – Fun, Fast and Fearless. All modes help adjusting the steering and throttle response and the level of regenerative braking.

With the 34.5kWh battery pack, the new Mahindra electric SUV offers a claimed range of 375km. Its bigger battery version promises a range of 456km on a single charge. One must note that the aforementioned range figures are as per the Indian driving cycle (MIDC). The SUV’s battery pack takes 50 minutes to get charged from 0 to 80% via a 50kW DC fast charger. It can be fully charged in 6 hours 30 minutes by using a 7.2kW and 13 hours by using a 3.3kW AC charger.
