Mahindra has recently launched its electric SUV, the XUV400, at a starting price of Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The EV has already got over 10,000 takers since the commencement of its bookings on January 26 and commands a waiting period of up to 7 months. The SUVmaker offers the XUV400 in two variants – EC and EL. We have listed the features of each variant of the Mahindra EV below, in case you are interested in purchasing it.

Note:
- The prices are introductory and will be valid for the first 5,000 bookings of each variant.
- Deliveries of EL will commence next month, whereas the EC variant will be available from the festive season of 2023.
VERDICT
There are a whole lot of benefits to owning the Mahindra XUV400 EV, and at such a competitive price point, it is one of the most attractive models on the market. Its EL variant with its larger battery offers more range and gets more creature comforts. Nevertheless, the added convenience and reduced range anxiety do come at a price premium of Rs 2.5 lakh, which is worth considering, in our opinion.
