New Mahindra XUV300 EV Launch

It is no secret that Mahindra is preparing to launch the updated version of the XUV300 that has been spotted several times on the Indian roads. The Mahindra XUV300 EV will share the styling cues from the updated XUV300; however, it will have some EV-specific styling tweaks. While the XUV400 EV measures about 4.2 meters in length, the XUV300 EV will sit under 4 meters in length and will directly rival the segment-leader Tata Nexon EV.

Styling Changes

The Mahindra XUV300 EV will come with styling cues from the Mahindra BE05, which we have already seen doing test rounds on the Indian roads. The SUV is likely to receive newly-styled drop-down LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lamp), a new two-part front grille with a larger centra air intake, a completely restyled bumper and headlamp setup.

Mildly Revised Interior

The cabin of the Mahindra XUV300 EV is also likely to receive some changes including a revised dashboard layout. It will receive a much bigger infotainment screen and a revised centre console with minor changes to the switchgear. The XUV300 EV’s direct rival, the Tata Nexon EV comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen.

Specifications

The new Mahindra XUV300 EV is expected to be equipped with a 35kWh battery pack, which is smaller than the 40kWh available on the larger XUV400 Electric. Details about the electric motor specifications and range are yet to be revealed.

Expected Price & Launch Details

The Mahindra XUV300 EV is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 15 lakh – 17 lakh (ex-showroom).
