Mahindra Scorpio-N Has Highest Command Seating In Its Segment

Mahindra & Mahindra has released yet another teaser of the new Scorpio-N SUV ahead of its launch on 27th June 202. The latest teaser video confirms that the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N will offer the highest command seating in its segment. The SUV model lineup will be made available with 6 and 7 seater options with front facing seat arrangement. There will be dedicated armrest with storage between the driver and co-passenger seats, fixed headrest, magazine holders at the back of the front seats and a mobile charging port near the rear AC vents.

Compared to the current generation, the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N will have more upmarket interior. It will offer a larger touchscreen infotainment system with the latest smartphone connectivity and a digital instrument cluster. The SUV will also come with an 8-speaker 3D Sony audio system, a 360 degree camera, auto dimming inner rear view mirror, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, electronic stability control, 6/8-airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system and many more goodies.

Major changes has been made to its exterior. The new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio N features a newly-designed front grille with vertical chrome slates, projector headlamps and LED fog lamps. Some of its other design highlights include new dual-tone alloy wheels, updated rear bumper with mounted LED DRLs and vertical taillamps. Powering the new Mahindra Scorpio-N will be the new 2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L diesel engines with both manual and automatic gearbox options. The petrol unit will deliver a peak power of 170PS and the diesel motor will be tuned for generating two different power outputs – 130PS (for the lower variants) and 160PS (for the higher variants). Both engines will be available with the 4X4 drivetrain system with low range gearbox options.

While prices of the new Scorpio will be announced on coming 27th June, we expect it to cost between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 18 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
