Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus – 7 Variants, 7/9-Seater, Launching Soon

Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus, which has completed a year of testing and is all set to grace the roads in September 2023. Although the official launch date is yet to be announced by the carmaker, we can look forward to this SUV’s arrival soon.

The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus will offer a diverse lineup, boasting 7 variants, including an ambulance model offering 4-seats and a patient bed. Buyers will have the flexibility to choose between two seating options, with the option of a 7-seater or a 9-seater configuration. Compared to the Bolero Neo, the Neo Plus will have an extended length of 4,400mm, while retaining its existing wheelbase of 2,680mm. The overall width and height of the SUV will measure 1,795mm and 1,812mm, respectively.

Mahindra Bolero Neo Diesel

Under the hood, the new Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus will be powered by a 2.2L diesel engine, the same unit found in the Scorpio N, albeit detuned to deliver approximately 120bhp, as opposed to the original 132bhp. Transmission duties will be handled by a 6-speed manual gearbox, and the SUV will come equipped with a 2WD (two-wheel drive) system. Clear images of the SUV have revealed subtle cosmetic changes to distinguish it from its younger sibling. The front fascia showcases Mahindra’s signature Twin Peaks logo, complemented by a bumper with newly designed fog lamps, and headlamps with LED DRLs positioned on the upper half. The side profile of the Bolero Neo Plus stands out with body-colored C-pillars replacing the previous blacked-out units, while the rear section features a tweaked bumper and smaller reflector panels.

The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is expected to share most of its features with the Bolero Neo. Noteworthy features may include a 2-DIN audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, voice messaging system, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, height-adjustable driver seat, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, driver and co-driver armrests, fabric upholstery, dual airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, and cruise control, among others.
