Mahindra XUV300, launched in early 2019, is currently facing tough competition in the segment due to the arrival of new entrants. To revive its market position, the indigenous automaker has decided to give it a major update in terms of design and features. While the official launch timeline is yet to be disclosed, the SUV’s facelifted version is expected to arrive in early 2024, and it brings exciting news for sunroof enthusiasts. Though details are scanty at this point, the new XUV300 is expected to feature a newly-designed dashboard and updated infotainment system. Additionally, it might offer features such as a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, and a digital driver’s display.
Significant changes are likely to be seen at the front and rear sections of the SUV. The new 2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift could borrow some design elements from the XUV700, including C-shaped LED headlamps. Upfront, it is likely to carry a new two-part grille and a larger central air intake. There might be a new set of alloy wheels, along with a redesigned tailgate, new taillamp clusters, and a tweaked rear bumper with a repositioned license plate.
What will remain intact is the engine setup. Similar to the pre-facelift version, the new 2024 Mahindra XUV300 facelift will use the 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol, and 1.5L diesel engines. The gasoline unit will offer 110bhp and 131Nm, while the diesel engine generates 117bhp. The existing AMT gearbox could be replaced with a torque converter automatic unit, while a manual transmission will come as standard.
