With a budget cap of Rs 10 lakh, prospective buyers can anticipate a range of options, each offering distinct features to meet the needs of small families.

New-Gen Maruti Swift/Dzire

Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to unveil the new-generation Swift hatchback and Dzire compact sedan in early 2024. Both models will undergo noticeable cosmetic enhancements and feature upgrades, including the introduction of the new Z-Series petrol engine. The upcoming Swift and Dzire will boast a new 1.2L, 3-cylinder Z12E engine, promising increased power and fuel efficiency. Rumors suggest that lower trims of the Swift may retain the existing 1.2L, 4-cylinder Dualjet petrol unit.

The engine setup remains unchanged, with the new Toyota small SUV featuring the 1.2L NA and 1.0L boosterjet petrol engines.

Tata Motors is set to launch the Altroz Racer Edition in early 2024, featuring a 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine generating 120bhp and 170Nm. Equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, the Racer Edition boasts sporty graphics, all-black upholstery with contrasting red stitching, and red and white stripes with ‘Racer’ embossing on the head restraints.
