Now, the Lamborghini Urus model lineup in India includes two offerings – Urus Performante and Urus S. While the former costs from Rs 4.22 crore, the recently-launched Urus S is available at a starting price of Rs 4.18 crore. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.
Here, it takes on the BMW XM, Aston Martin DBX 707, Maserati Levante Trofeo, Audi RSQ8 and Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT. The new Lamborghini Urus S, which is luxury-oriented version, sources its power from the same 4.0L, twin turbo V8 engine that does duty in the Urus Performante.
The motor pushes out a massive 666bhp and 850Nm of torque. The Urus S is capable to do 0 to 100kmph in 3.5 seconds, while the Urus Performante is slightly faster doing the same in 3.3 seconds. For delivering power to all four wheels, there is an 8-speed automatic gearbox. It comes with adaptive air suspension that’s claimed to offer super sports driving experience with smooth handling. It also has three off-road modes – Sabbia, Neve and Terra along with the Strada, Sport and Corsa. The Urus S can attain a top speed of 305kmph.
Upfront, the Lamborghini Urus S features a new bumper with more refined lines and new matt black-painted stainless steel skidplate, which is complemented by the black lines. The company is offering five different style configuration options combine body colour, carbon fiber components in shiny and matt finish. It has a carbon fiber painted bonnet with matt black air vents with optional finishes to the vents in body colour, gloss black or carbon fiber (shiny or matt finish).
The sports SUV also comes with an optional carbon fiber roof. At the rear, the Urus S carries a new bumper and twin pipe exhaust design in brushed steel (standard) and optional matt or shiny black or Ad Personam option in bright chrome. You also get new rim options along with the standard 21-inch wheel.
Inside, the Lamborghini Urus S has a completely new colour and trim. There are options for the new Bi-colour Sportivo and new Bi-colour Sophisticated upholstery with new Urus Performante stitching pattern. For connectivity purpose, there is connected navigation, several in-car control services and more.
