Komaki Electric Vehicles has been receiving postive response in the battery-powered two-wheeler category. In order to further strengthen its position, the company is planning to launch India’s first electric cruiser – Komaki Ranger. The company has officially teased the electric cruiser.
The Komaki Ranger electric cruiser is scheduled to make debut in January 2022. It is claimed to offer 250kms range on a single charge. The company claims to have invested over 1 million USD to design the Ranger electric cruiser.
The new motorcycle will come equipped with a 4kW battery pack, which is the largest battery pack in an electric two-wheeler in India. This battery pack will enable the cruiser to achieve 250kms range.
The Komaki Ranger will be powered by a 5000-watt motor, which is claimed to make it capable enough to conquer wide variety of terrain. The electric cruiser will come equipped with features like cruise control, repair switch, reverse switch, advanced braking system and Bluetooth connectivity system.
This will be the first electric cruiser motorcycle in the Indian market. The company promises an affordable tag for the bike to reach the masses. Commenting on the new Ranger, Gunjan Malhotra, Director, Komaki Electric Division, said, “There are some things that need to be finalized but we have decided to keep the price affordable. We want everyone – especially the common man – to experience the joy of riding a quality cruiser that is made in India.”
He further said, “we have left no stone unturned to make sure that Ranger comes out as our masterpiece, and we hope that it’ll be received with love once it rolls out in the market.”Komaki currently offers a wide range of electric scooters and motorcycles in the country. These products are available in the price bracket of Rs 30,000 to Rs 1 lakh.
