Komaki Electric Vehicles, a Japan based electric vehicle manufacturer, has finally launched the Ranger electric cruiser in the Indian market. The Komaki Ranger has become the first electric cruiser to be sold in the country. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 1.68 lakh (ex-showroom) including all accessories.
Komaki said that the ‘Ranger’ name is inspired from the extraordinary range it can achieve and can compete with several ICE motorcycles. It is offered in three different colors schemes – Garnet Red, Deep Blue, and Jet Black.
Powertrain & Range
The Komaki Ranger electric cruiser motorcycle is fitted with a 4,000-watt motor combines with a 4kW battery pack. This is the largest electric powertrain in a two-wheeler in the country. The electric cruiser will be powered by a 5 kW (6.7 BHP) motor. It is claimed to offer a range of around 180-220 kilometers on a single charge.

The Komaki Ranger comes with a big grosses wheels and chrome exteriors. It gets a chrome garnished retro-styled LED headlamps with are flanked by dual chrome garnished round-shaped auxiliary lamps. There are retro-styled side indicators. It gets a raked wide handlebars, single-pod instrument cluster, chrome treated display on the fuel tank and others.
