The Korean automaker, Kia has announced that it has received over 1 lakh bookings for the new Kia Seltos facelift in India. Launched last year in July 2023, the new Seltos has received an average monthly booking of 13,500 units.
The top-spec variants of the Kia Seltos facelift is in huge demand, as it attracts over 80 per cent of the total bookings. Adding to it, 40 per cent of the customers opt for the high-spec variants equipped with the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite. Adding to it, 80 per cent of the buyers are opting for the panoramic sunroof-equipped variant of the SUV.
The Kia Seltos facelift has been a huge success for the Korean automaker. On the first day of opening of bookings, the SUV received over 13,000 orders. Adding to it, the company received over 31,000 bookings for the Seltos within a month. The Kia Seltos is available in both petrol and diesel fuel options and is priced in the range of Rs 10.90 lakh to Rs 20.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Kia Seltos facelift is available with 3 engine options – a 115bhp, 144Nm, 1.5-litre petrol, a 116bhp, 250Nm, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel, and the newly introduced 160bhp, 253Nm, 1.5-litre turbo petrol. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, a CVT, a 6-speed iMT, a 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed DCT.
