Kia Motors had launched the Seltos SUV in August 2019 and is already a year old in our market. The SUV has received an overwhelming response from buyers with over 1 lakh units sold in less than 1 year. In order to further boost sales during festive season, Kia Motors has launched the Seltos Anniversary Edition. The new edition is available at a starting price of Rs 13.75 lakh and goes up to Rs 14.85 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The new edition is around Rs 40,000 expensive than the equivalent HTX trim level. Kia Motors has also released a TVC (television commercial) for the Seltos Anniversary Edition, which also features Kia’s brand ambassador – Tiger Shroff. Based on the mid-level Seltos HTX trim, the new Anniversary Edition comes with some design changes and new features
The Kia seltos Anniversary Edition measures 4,375mm in length, which makes it around 60mm longer than the regular Seltos measuring 4,315mm. In fact, it is marginally longer than the US spec model measuring 4,370mm in length. The SUV is fitted with aggressive tusk shape skid plate with silver diffuser fins and tangerine fog lamp bezel, raven black skid plate with silver diffsuer fins and tangerine dual muffler design, and side sills with tangerine inserts and Seltos logo.
The Kia Seltos Anniversary Edition rides on newly styled 17-inch Ravcen Black alloy wheels with Tangerine centre cap. This model will come in 3 different dual tone colour options – Glacier White Pearl with Aurora Black Peal, Steel Silver with Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey with Aurora Black Pearl and Monotone – Aurora Black Pearl. The SUV also gets premium Raven Black leatherette seats with honeycomb pattern and new Smart key Remote Engine Start.
The Seltos Anniversary Edition will be offered with two engine options – a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder NA petrol and a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel. While the former is good for 113bhp and 144Nm of torque, the oil burner produces 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, a CVT automatic (petrol) and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic (diesel).
In terms of standard features, this edition gets ABS with EBD, dual airbags, front and rear disc brakes (1.5L Diesel), rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitor, auto light control, LED headlamps with LED DRLs, LED tail-lamps, LED fog lamps, electric sunroof, ORVM with LED turn signal, driver one touch auto down power window, 60:40 split rear seat, rear seat incline 3 steps, automatic AC, Smart air purifier, ambient mood lighting, push-button start, automatic cruise control, etc.
It features a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Arkamys tuning, 6 speakers, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and rear view camera with guidance. It also supports UVO Connected Car technology and Smartwatch connectivity app.
