2022 Kia Seltos Nightfall Edition launch

The South Korean automaker is ready to enter into the three-row MPV or SUV segment with the Kia KY (codename). The model will make its world debut on December 16, 2021 and its launch will happen in early 2022. Its final production version is likely to be named Kia Carens as the company recently trademarked the same nameplate in the country. The upcoming Kia three-row MPV will be offered with both 6 and 7-seats layout.

Recently, the fresh interior details of the Kia KY were emerged on the web. The compact MPV will get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and Kia’s UVO connected car technology. The info unit will have new, advanced software that’s currently offered on Kia’s new breed cars. The Kia Carens might also be the first vehicle in its category to offer one-touch electric folding seats to access the third row seats.

While the leather seat upholstery will be reserved for the higher trims, the lower and mid-spec variants will have fabric seats. The new Kia KY will offer a single pane sunroof.
