In order to commemorate 5th Anniversary of the Jeep Compass, the American automaker introduced a special Anniversary Edition of the SUV. The Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary Edition has been made available with both 1.4L Multiair petrol and 2.0L Multijet diesel engines. The petrol version comes with the DCT automatic gearbox and costs Rs 25.24 lakh. While the diesel manual and DCT 4X2 variants are priced at Rs 24.44 lakh, the diesel DCT 4X4 version is being offered at Rs 28.24 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.
A few cosmetic enhancements have been made on the Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary Edition. It features a new ‘5th Anniversary’ badge, new gloss black grille with neutral grey ring and 18-inch alloy wheels with Granite Crystal finish. Features such as the body-colour/satin granite crystal lower front fascia with body-colour fender flares, body coloured sill molding and cladding, black day light opening moldings and accent colour roof rails further distinguish it from the standard model. Interior of the Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary Edition has been enhanced by leather seats with light Tungsten accent stitching, pian black and anodized Gun Metal interior accents and black headliner. It also gets automatic dim rearview interior mirror. No other changes have been made to the model. Similar to the standard version, the 5th Anniversary Edition offers a 360 degree camera, electronic stability control, adaptive brake light, electronic parking brake, multiple airbags, electronic roll mitigation, reverse parking sensors, hill start assist and tyre pressure monitoring system.
