Jeep Grand Commander, the upcoming 7-seater SUV from the American carmaker, has been revealed in the leaked images. Based on the Compass, the new three-row SUV will be first launched in the Chinese market. The carmaker has planned a 7-seater SUV for the Indian market as well. Codenamed Jeep H6, the SUV is likely to hit roads by mid 2022. FCA India’s Ranjangaon based facility near Pune will serve as production hub for the RHD (right-hand drive) version of the Jeep Commander. As of now, there is no clarity whether the upcoming Jeep 7-seater SUV will carry the Grand Commander nameplate or not.

The leaked images confirm that the Jeep Grand Commander 7-seater SUV will share most of its design elements with the 5-seat Compass. Though, it has newly-designed headlamps, a more upright 7-slat grille, larger doors, lowered roof line, extended overhang and sharply designed rear bumper and tailgate. The rear section of the new Jeep 7-seater SUV looks similar to the Grand Wagoneer concept. The carmaker will offer multiple design options for the front grille, fog lamps, bumpers, alloy wheels, rims and more.
