Facelifted Jeep Compass Trailhawk Launch Likely This Festive Season

American SUV maker, Jeep had launched the updated Compass SUV in the Indian market on January 22, 2021. The company is also preparing the facelifted Compass Trailhawk, which has also been spotted testing couple of times in India. The upgraded Trailhawk is expected to be launched in the Indian market in the end of this year, before Diwali.

The updated Compass Trailhawk will look way more sportier than the previous model. The SUV will come reworked exterior design and new features inside the cabin. The Trailhawk facelift was spotted in January, and was finished in dual-tone Red and Black colour scheme.

The facelifted Compass Trailhawk will come with a new matte black grille and newly styled bumper airdams and fog lamp assembly. The SUV will also gets sleeker and slightly larger LED headlamps, and dual-tone alloy wheels. Trail Rated badge will be integrated on the fenders. The SUV will retain the contrasting black patch on the bonnet along with the black roof.

The SUV will ride on the same 225/60/R17 section Falken all-terrain tyres. The SUV will continue to have the front bumper with an approach angle of 26.5 degrees and rear bumper with a departure angle of 31.6 degrees. It will ride on 205mm ground clearance, and offers a water wading depth of 480mm.

The Trailhawk is also expected to come equipped with a 360 degree camera. The SUV will retain the all-black interior scheme with contrasting red elements and seat stitching. It will be fitted with a larger free-standing touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, new steering wheel and digital instrument console. 

The Compass Trailhawk facelift will be powered by the same 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces 173bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. Power will be transmitted to wheels via an 9-speed automatic gearbox.
