Korean automaker, Hyundai has officially unveiled the all-new i20 N Line. It is the newest member in the Hyundai N Line portfolio, which has exterior and interior design elements inspired by Hyundai’s high-performance N range. The N Line package is offered on the latest generation i20 hatchback, which is scheduled to be launched in our market in the next couple of months.
The all-new i20 N Line’s exterior styling is based on Hyundai’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design identity along with performance-oriented design cues. The front bumper has grey character line, while the stylish black cascading grille has N Line badge. The grille pattern is inspired by chequered flag, which further emphasizing the all-new i20 N Line’s track-inspired look.
The Hyundai i20 N Line features sporty grey accents and a sleek rear bumper. It gets triangle shaped fog lamp and chrome twin muffler exhaust system, which makes the new model looks different from the regular i20. It is available in 4 exterior colours – Phantom Black, Polar White, Brass and Aurora Grey. The Polar White i20 N Line also has an optional two-tone Phantom Black roof.
Inside the cabin, the all-new Hyundai i20 N Line gets the N-branded sporty seats with the N logo and exclusive red stitching as well as a dedicated N steering wheel. Other N Line enhancements include metal pedals and the leather N gear shift knob with red inserts.
The all-new i20 N Line will be powered by a 1.0-litre T-GDI petrol engine. This 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine is capable of producing 118bhp and 172Nm of torque. The company claims that the i20 N Line is refined in terms of suspension, engine response and exhaust sound. It will be offered with 48-volt mild hybrid technology, which improves its fuel efficiency. This model also gets iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission), which we have already seen on the Venue compact SUV. The sporty hatch also gets 17-inch alloy wheels with a two-tone finish.
The all-new Hyundai i20 N Line comes fitted with Hyundai’s Bluelink technology that offers a wide range of Connected Car services such as remote features via the Bluelink smartphone app and Hyundai Live Services. The hatch also gets Hyundai SmartSense safety features and complies with the European standards.
