Renault Kwid Neotech Edition Leaked: Launch Soon

Due to coronavirus pandemic, Renault India has decided to delay the launch of the much-awaited Kiger sub-4 meter SUV. Earlier planned to launch in October-November, 2020, the new Renault Kiger is now slated to be launched in the first quarter of 2021. In order to drive sales during festive season, Renault India is readying a new edition of the Kwid hatchback, called the Neotech edition. The Renault Kwid Neotech edition will be made available in 3 variants.

The Renault Kwid Neotech edition will be offered in a dual-tone paint scheme – Zanskar Blue with Moonlight Silver roof and Moonlight Silver with Zanskar Blue roof. In terms of styling changes, the new edition gets decals on the C-pillar, Volcano Grey flex wheels, Neotech door claddings, a graphite grille with chrome inserts and blacked-out B-pillar.

Kwid Neotech Edition Changes

Inside the cabin, the Kwid Neotech edition will come with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Zanskar Blue decor and chrome inserts are offered on the steering wheel, while the fabric seats come with blue inserts and contrasting stitches. Chrome treatment can be seen around the AMT lever.

Kwid Neotech Colours

The Neotech edition will be offered with the existing 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre petrol engines. While the 800cc engine produces 53bhp and 72Nm of torque, the latter produces 67bhp and 91Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and an AMT unit (1.0L version only).
