Hyundai Grand i10 Nios – Finding The Most Value-For-Money Variant

The Grand i10 Nios is one of the highest-selling models from the house of Hyundai in India. With the recent discontinuation of its diesel variants, the compact hatch is now available with two petrol and one CNG engine options across four variants: Era, Magna, Sportz, and Asta.

So which of these variants offer the most value for money? Let’s find out.

The most-in-demand 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine of the Grand i10 Nios makes 83PS of maximum power and 114Nm of peak torque, which is on par with the Maruti Suzuki Swift. It is highly refined and suitable for both daily commutes & highway runs. Turbocharged units, on the other hand, are great for those who want some fun in the driving experience.

Dimensions and Cabin Space

The Grand i10 Nios is 3805mm long, 1680mm wide, 1520mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2450mm. It offers a decent cabin space. The front seats of the hatch are pretty comfortable and provide ample support for the thighs & back. Nevertheless, occupants with a large build will be dribbling out of their seats. However, to enhance the experience at the rear over longer trips, Hyundai has added 60mm of bolstering at the side. Yet, it can only accommodate four adults comfortably, and five is a bit tight.

Speaking of the boot, it offers 260 litres of space, which is decent to fit 3-4 medium size suitcases.
