Hyundai Creta has been ruling the mid-size SUV segment for almost a decade. And there is no doubt that its diesel variants have played a vital role in its stellar sales performance. - The Hyundai Creta Diesel and Toyota Hyryder Hybrid offer the same amount of power. However, being an oil burner, the Creta offers an impressive torque output of 250Nm. It feels very refine & smooth and is punchy enough to accelerate quickly. On the other hand, the Toyota Hyryder Hybrid runs solely on electric power at city speeds. However, the engine kicks in as the battery starts getting out of juice. It offers linear power delivery and misses that punch you get with the Creta Diesel.
- Speaking of fuel efficiency, both SUVs are pretty frugal, but the Hyryder takes an edge with its hybrid nature. Be gentle on the throttle and you can easily do over 1,000 kilometres on a full tank.
