Hyundai Creta SX Executive Launched; Petrol & Diesel Prices

Hyundai has launched the new SX Executive trim of the Creta mid-sized SUV. The new SX trim is available in petrol and diesel guise, and in manual version only. The new SX Executive trim sits below the existing SX trim. The petrol version is priced at Rs 13.18 lakh, while the diesel costs Rs 14.18 lakh.

The Hyundai Creta SX Executive petrol and diesel variants are 78,000 cheaper than the respective SX petrol and diesel. It is around 1 lakh more expensive than the S trim. The new version misses out on the bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the connected car, which is offered in the SX trim. However, user can purchase this as an optional accessory.

Instead of 10.25-inch display, the SX Executive gets an 8-inch touchscreen system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also misses out on features like outside chrome door handles, voice recognition button, Arkamys sound system, etc. The Hyundai Creta SX Executive features include a panoramic sunroof, 17-inch silver-finished alloys, cruise control and automatic AC. It gets ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), rear disc brakes and hill assist.

The Hyundai Creta SX Executive is available with two engine options – a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel. While the former is good for 113bhp and 144Nm of torque, the oil burner produces 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. A six-speed manual gearbox driving the power to the front wheels is available as standard. The Creta also available with a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 138bhp of power and 242Nm of torque. It is paired to a 7-speed DCT. The 1.5L petrol engine also gets an optional CVT, while the diesel gets a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
