Hyundai Creta Knight Edition – What’s New at What Price?

Hyundai India has further expanded the model lineup of its top-selling Creta SUV. The company has introduced a new S petrol (1.5L NA) iMT variant and Creta Knight Edition with blacked-out exterior and interior. While the former has been priced at Rs 12.68 lakh, the latter is available within the price range of Rs 12.44 lakh – Rs 18.01 lakh (all, ex-showroom). Here’re key details and prices of the newly-launched Hyundai Creta Knight Edition.

As mentioned above, the Creta Knight Edition has sporty black treatment inside and out. The model features a new gloss black finish on the front grille with red inserts. The brand’s signature logos on the front and rear have dark chrome finish.

Unlike the regular model, the special edition comes with a new gun metal shade on the wheels. The red front brake calipers and blacked-out wing mirrors, front and rear skid plates, side sills, roof rails and C pillar garnish add more to its sporty looks. The sporty black treatment continues inside the cabin as well. The model has all-black dashboard and seat upholstery along with the contrasting red finish on the AC vents and red stitching for the seats.

One must note that the new Hyundai Creta Knight Edition has been offered only on the new S+ and the range-topping SX (O) automatic variants. Both trims are available with the 1.5L petrol and diesel engines delivering 115bhp with 144Nm and 250Nm respectively. While the former can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox, the latter comes with the 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox options.

Talking about pricing, the S+ petrol and diesel manual variants are priced at Rs 13.35 lakh and Rs 14.31 lakh respectively. While the SX (O) petrol iVT costs Rs 14.31 lakh, the SX (O) diesel automatic is offered at Rs 18.01 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.
