Hyundai Creta Adventure Edition In The Works; Launch Soon

Hyundai is reportedly readying a new special edition of the Creta and Alcazar SUVs. The new special editions could be called the Adventure Edition. The new edition will replace the Creta’s Knight Edition, which is hugely popular among Indian buyers. The report claims that the new Creta and Alcazar Editions are likely to be launched by August-end or early September.

The new Adventure Edition will receive cosmetic design changes and won’t get any mechanical upgrades. The new Creta & Alcazar Adventure Editions will be finished in a new ‘Ranger Khaki’ colour, which we have already seen on the new Exter micro SUV. The SUVs will receive dual-tone finish with a contrasting black roof.

The blacked-out treatment is likely to be added to the bumper garnishes, roof rails, ORVMs and alloy wheels. New Adventure Edition badges will be added to the SUVs. The vehicles will receive all-black interior scheme with contrasting stitching for the upholstery along with Adventure Edition badges on the seat headrests and door sills.

Both editions will be offered with the existing engine options. The Creta is likely to get a 1.5-litre NA petrol and 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine options. On the other hand, the Alcazar is expected to receive 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engines. Both manual and automatic gearbox options will be on offer. Hyundai is also preparing to give a major makeover to the Creta SUV in 2024. The new model will receive significant design changes and an all-new interior along with a new turbo petrol engine. Hyundai officials said that the SUV will get multiple India-specific changes in the form of new front and rear design.
