Honda Elevate Mileage Figures Out; Price Announcement In Sept

Japanese automaker, Honda has announced to reveal the prices for the much-awaited Elevate mid-sized SUV will be released sometime in September 2023. The company has also revealed the fuel efficiency details of the Honda Elevate. Test drives for the SUV will commence in mid-August.

The new Honda Elevate mid-sized SUV will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and the MG Astor It is available with a tried & tested 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that churns out a maximum power output of 121bhp and a peak torque of 145Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT automatic. Honda won’t introduce the hybrid version of the SUV; however, an all-electric model will be introduced by 2025.

Honda has revealed that the manual version of the Elevate will return a fuel efficiency of 15.31kmpl, while the CVT version is claimed to offer a certified fuel economy of 16.92kmpl. The SUV has a fuel tank of 40-litres, which ensures a drive range of 612km on a fuel tank (Manual Version) and 679km with CVT.

In terms of proportions, the new Elevate is 4312mm in length, 1790mm in width and 1650mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,650mm. The SUV has a segment-leading 220mm of ground clearance. It is available in four trim levels – SV, V, VX and ZX. The base variant gets fabric upholstery, 60:40 split rear seats, auto AC, engine push button start, 16-inch wheels, LED headlamps & taillamps, and dual front airbags.

The V trim gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, HOnda Connect and multi-angle rear view camera. The VX trim has 7-inch HD colour TFT meter cluster, wireless smartphone charger, LaneWatch camera, electric sunroof, 17-inch dual-tone diamond cut alloy wheels and LED projector fog lamps. The range topping model has ADAS tech, auto dimming IRVM, leatherette upholstery, 10.25-inch HD touchscreen display, 6 airbags and others.
