Hyundai Alcazar Seating Options (6/7-Seats) Explained

Hyundai Alcazar is ready to make official arrival on 18th June 2021. We have already got our hands on its variant, colour, features and engine details. The three-row SUV will be offered in 6 trim levels, namely, Prestige, Prestige (O), Platinum, Platinum (O), Signature and Signature (O). The model can be had with either a 2.0L MPI petrol engine or a 1.5L CRDi diesel motor. While the former is good enough for 259bhp and 192Nm, the latter delivers 113bhp and 250Nm. Both units will come with the 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox options. It offers best-in-class mileage.

Buyers will have 6 monotone colours to choose from – Taiga Brown, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Phantom Black and Starry Night. The dual-tone Polar White/Phantom Black and Titan Grey/Phantom Black shades are reserved for the Optional (O) variants. The 6-seater version has captain seats for the middle row and a bench-type seat for the third row. The second row passengers will get a dedicated centre console (first-in-segment) with cup holders and arm rests along with the wireless charging options. The adjustable captain seats offer decent headroom and its siding function ensures ample legroom for taller occupants. There is an easily access to the third row via one touch tip and tumble fold seat. The SUV has a retractable seat back tray to accommodate a small notebook or a tablet computer. One can fold/flip its seats down in multiple ways.

The 7-seater Alcazar comes with the bench seats for the middle and third row. It has a pull down armrest along with a single touch operation for the foldable second row seat. Compared to the 6-seater model, the 7-seater version misses out on a few features, but offers more space to accommodate an additional passenger. The rest of the layout and features are similar to the 6-seat Alcazar.
