Hyundai Alcazar Interior, Exterior Details, Spy Images

Hyundai Alcazar, the upcoming three-row SUV from the South Korean carmaker, is all set to debut in coming months. We have already seen multiple spy pictures and videos of the vehicle revealing interesting details. A latest set of spy pictures clearly shows its interior with dual-tone captain seats.

The images confirm that its 6-seater version will offer wireless phone charging, a dedicated armrest with cup holders and small storage space for the middle row passengers. It will also have Isofix mounts, which are likely to have a tumble-down feature.

The third row of seats will offer decent space for two adult passengers. Though, the legroom could be limited. If reports are to be believed, the carmaker will equip the Alcazar with a larger touchscreen infotainment system than the 5-seater Creta. The latter one comes with a 10.25-inch infotainment unit supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with the voice recognition.

Most of its features are likely to be carried forward from the Creta 5-seater including an 8-speaker Bose audio system, a 7.0-inch instrument cluster,  leather upholstery, front ventilated seats, powered driver’s seat, auto dimming inside rear view mirror, a panoramic sunroof, air purifier, 6 airbags, remote engine start-stop, vehicle stability management, hill start assist, and more. The carmaker might also equip it with a 360 degree camera, automatic AC unit and Bluelink connected car technology.

On the safety front, the upcoming new Hyundai SUV might offer the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) technology. Hyundai has named it ‘Hyundai SmartSense offering features such as driver attention warning, automatic emergency braking tech, automatic emergency braking while reversing, blind spot collision avoidance assist and rear cross-traffic alert. The model could also be equipped with highway driving assist, cruise control, lane departure warning and highway driving assist.

Compared to the Creta 5-seater, the upcoming Hyundai Alcazar will sit on a longer wheelbase and have extended overhangs. The SUV will have a flatter roof instead of a sloping one and an entirely revised rear section featuring new LED taillamps, bumper and tailgate.

Significant changes will also be made to its front design including a chrome-studded radiator grille, newly-designed headlamps and revised bumper. The Alcazar will be relatively longer (around 30mm) and more spacious than the Creta 5-seater.

While official engine details of the new Hyundai Alcazar are still under the wraps, the SUV is reported to share its engines and gearboxes with the Creta 5-seater. The latter one comes with a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel motors delivering power worth 138bhp with 250Nm and 113bhp with 250Nm of torque.
