Honda Elevate SUV Design Partially Shown; Debut On 6th June

Honda Cars India has confirmed that its upcoming new Elevate SUV will make global debut on 6th June 2023 in Delhi. Developed from the ground up, the model will be put up against the cars like Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun. This time around, the carmaker has revealed the Honda Elevate SUV partially including its sleek headlamps with LED DRLs, sunroof, shark fin antenna and sporty rear section. The spy images reveal that the SUV will have thick body cladding, blacked-out pillars, prominent wheel arches, alloy wheels and taillamps similar to the new-gen WR-V (global-spec).

The new midsize SUV from Honda will come with Honda Sensing ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) tech. The suite will offer advanced safety features such as road departure mitigation system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, collision mitigation braking and auto high beam. It could also get Honda’s Lane Watch system for blind spot detection. The safety kit is likely to include multiple airbags, vehicle stability management, electronic stability control, electronic parking brake, 360 degree camera, ABS with EBD and hill launch assist.

Interior details of the new Honda Elevate SUV are still under the wraps. Though, it’s expected to be equipped with a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, premium audio system, a semi digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, push button start/stop, ambient lighting system, cruise control and more.

The Honda Elevate will be a hybrid SUV that’s expected to come with the 1.5L petrol Atkinson Cycle powertrain. It will also be offered with a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine making 121bhp. Both powertrains will be sourced from the City sedan.

As far as pricing is concerned, the new Honda SUV is likely to cost from Rs 12 lakh to Rs 19 lakh. Official details will be revealed next month. Stay tuned to IndiaCarNews.
