The new Honda CRF 190L is powered by an 184cc engine. It is basically a different version of the engine that powers the Honda Hornet 2.0 and the CB200X. While powering the CRF, this powertrain produces 15.5bhp of power and 15.7Nm of torque. The motorcyle has a low kerb weight of 145kg, which in return offers an excellent power-to-weight ratio.

Japanese brand has also applied design patents for the NT1100 (sport-tourer version of the CRF1100L Africa Twin) and the CRF300L dual-sport motorcycle. The new Honda CRF 190L has a seat height of 830mm and offers a ground clearance of 240mm. Design highlights include a rectangular shaped headlamp, circular rearview mirrors, single seat, side-mounted exhaust, tall windscreen to counter windblast, upright handlebar and others.
