Honda CB350 RS Scrambler Launching Tomorrow

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India will launch an all-new motorcycle based on the new H’ness CB350 tomorrow. The new motorcycle is rumoured to be called the Honda CB350 RS, which is most likely a Scrambler. Like the CB350, the upcoming Scrambler will be sold through Honda BigWing dealership network.

The new Honda CB350 RS scrambler will share most of the design and features with the H’ness CB350. The official teaser images reveal that the motorcycle will have dual-purpose tyres, different seat pattern, blacked-out components instead of chrome and new tail-section. The motorcycle is likely to come with stripped metal work, new and higher-set exhaust muffler and different riding position.

The new Honda CB350 RS scrambler will come with full LED lighting system, round headlamps, LED turn indicators and tail-lamps, alloy wheels with tubeless tyres and a semi-digital instrument console. The bike could get classic silver bar-end mirrors, blacked-out absorbers, new graphics on fuel tank and uniquely-styled rear profile with new tail-lights.

Like the CB350, the upcoming Scrambler is likely to offer Bluetooth connectivity, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), side stand with engine inhibitor, Bluetooth connectivity and gear position indicator.

The Honda CB350 RS scrambler will be powered by the same 348.36cc, single-cylinder engine that also powers the H’ness CB350. Paired to a 5-speed gearbox, this engine is capable of producing 20.8bhp of power at 5,500rpm and a peak torque of 30Nm at 3,000rpm. The motorcycle will feature telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear. For braking duties, it will get disc brakes and dual-channel ABS as standard.
