Honda CB300R To Be Re-Launched At India Bike Week 2021

Honda had discontinued the CB300R naked streetfighter from the Indian market in the mid-2022. The motorcycle was sold between February 2019 and April 2020. The company is set to bring back the Honda CB300R in the country.

This news is confirmed by an instagram post shared by the India Bike Week (IBW) organisers. Not just new Honda CB300R, the company will also launch the CB350 H’ness anniversary edition at the IBW 2021, which is scheduled to be held on December 4, 2021.

The Honda CB300R is a neo-retro styled naked motorcycle and is based on a lightweight steel trellis frame. In the BS4 form, this motorcycle was powered by a 286cc, liquid-cooled 4-valve single cylinder engine that produces 30.45bhp of power and 27.4Nm of torque. India is expected to be the first model to feature the BSVI/Euro 5 emission compliant CB300R, as Honda has not launched this high-spec model in the international markets.

Honda could locally manufacture the new CB300R naked streetfighter in the country. Previously, the company imported the motorcycle as a CKD unit. The motorcycle was available at a price tag of Rs 2.41 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it closer to the KTM 390 Duke and the BMW G310R.

The new Honda CB300R motorcycle will join the popular H’ness CB350 and the CB 350 RS, and will be sold through Honda BigWing dealership network. The anniversary edition of the H’ness CB350 is likely to get some additions, a new colour option and some added chrome bits.
