Hero MotoCorp has officially unveiled the BS6-compliant Hero Maestro Edge 110 BS6 for the domestic market. The new scooter has been listed on the Hero MotoCorp official website. The new model looks similar to the BS4 model; however, it comes with new and bolder graphics.
The new body graphics are added on the front apron and the body panels. The Hero Maestro Edge 110 BS6 is available in 6 colour options – Midnight Blue, Candy Blazing Red, Seal Silver, Panther Black, Pearl Fadeless White, and Techno Blue.
In terms of features, the 2020 Maestro Edge 110 BS6 gets diamond cut alloy wheels, LED tail-lamps, side stand indicator, integrated braking system, halogen headlight, semi-digital instrument console, service reminder, external fuel filling, mobile charging port and boot light and combination lock.
Powering the 2020 Hero Maestro Edge 110 is a BS6-compliant 110.9cc, single-cylinder engine with fuel-injection system. This engine is capable of producing 8bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 8.75Nm at 5,500rpm. Hero MotoCorp claims that the new scooter will offer improved fuel economy.
For suspension duties, the scooter gets telescopic front forks and swing-type with spring-loaded hydraulic damper at the back. The scooter rides on 12-inch front wheel and 10-inch rear wheel shod with 90/90-12 54J and 90/100-10 53J section tyres at the front and rear respectively. The scooter has a kerb weight of 112kg. The scooter rides on 1,261mm of wheelbase and has a seat height of 775mm.
