We reported earlier that Harley-Davidson is working on a new range of affordable motorcycles in partnership with the Chinese automaker – Qianjiang. While the official debut is scheduled on March 10, 2023, the Harley Davidson X350 motorcycle has reached the American dealerships. The new naked motorcycle has been revealed in a new YouTube video by the US-based Bert’s Harley-Davidson dealership.
The final version of the Harley Davidson X350 looks largely identical to the previous leaked images. In terms of styling, the new motorcycle gets an LED headlight, a rectangular fuel tank, scooped single-piece seat and crash guard. The low stance naked Harley motorcycle will offer relaxed riding position. It comes with an underbelly exhaust, centrally mounted foot pegs, and a circular semi-digital instrument pod.
It is expected to get a 353cc, twin-cylinder engine that produces 36bhp of power. The video also shows deep exhaust note of the X350. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle has an exposed frame suspended on USD front forks and a monoshock unit at the rear. For braking, the Harley Davidson X350 gets dual petal front discs and a single rear disc with dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System).
Apart from China, Harley Davidson is also planning to launch the new affordable motorcycle range in the developing nations including India. In our market, Harley Davidson has a joint venture with Hero MotoCorp. The new motorcycles will rival the Royal Enfield and the upcoming Bajaj-Triumph motorcycles.
