German automaker, Volkswagen is all set to unveil the new 2021 Tiguan AllSpace facelift on May 12, 2021. The company has also released a new teaser, which shows the rear and side profile of the updated SUV.
The 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace facelift is likely to receive minor change in terms of styling as well as interior. The vehicle shares lots of design changes and features from the updated Tiguan. It gets angular matrix LED headlamps, redesigned front and rear bumpers, new LED tail-lamps and new alloy wheels. The Tiguan AllSpace is around 215mm longer than the 5-seater sibling.
The leaked images reveal that the dashboard design is similar to the existing model. However, it will get new features, a new steering wheel, updated touch-based climate controls and others. The international-spec model is also available with 5-seat option. The SUV will receive a digital cockpit, connectivity options and driver assistance systems.
The Tiguan AllSpace facelift will continue to offer features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, 3-zone climate control, electrically adjustable front seats, etc. For safety and security, the SUV get multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors at front and rear, ESC (Electronic Stability Control) and TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System).
The international-spec model is likely to be offered with multiple engine options including petrol, diesel and hybrid. The India-spec model is expected to get the same 190PS, 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Power will be transmitted to all-4 wheels via a 7-speed DSG.
