Clearest Interior Picture Of The New Mahindra XUV500 2021: Spied

Mahindra is all set to launch the next generation XUV500 and the Scorpio SUVs. The new Mahindra XUV500 is likely to be launched in the second quarter of 2021; however, launch could be delayed due to the global shortage of semiconductor chips. The new XUV500 has been caught testing multiple and this time, the clearest interior picture of the SUV has been revealed on the web.

The new Mahindra XUV500 2021 interior picture reveals new multi-functional steering wheel with leather wrapping. The SUV gets Mercedes-like twin floating screens for the infotainment and the instrument console, which are clearly visible in the latest spy images. The digital instrument console will give all the information a driver would need.

The dashboard fit and finish and quality of plastic seems drastically improved. The central console is dominated by a large floating touchscreen infotainment system. The AC vents are placed below the infotainment system, while the climate control switches and other switch-gears are located below the AC vents.

The spotted new Mahindra XUV500 is equipped with automatic gearbox, which is evident from the gear selector lever. The spotted model was completely covered in thick cloth; however, it is clearly evident that the new XUV500 will grow in size. The SUV gets LED headlamps and tail-lamps, and the top-end variant will also receive LED fog-lights.

The new generation Mahindra XUV500 will be offered a factory-fitted panoramic sunroof. The SUV will come with connected car technology along with segment-first ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Features). It will get Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Park Assist. The SUV will offer multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, traction control, Hill launch assist, etc.

The new Mahindra XUV500 will be offered with two engine options – a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol and a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel. While the fromer will be tuned to produce up to 190bhp of power and over 350Nm of torque, the diesel engine is expected to offer around 180bhp of power. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
