Indian Motorcycle will officially launched the much-awaited Indian Chief Dark Horse in Chicago USA. Ahead of its launch, the clear images of the powerful motorcycle have been leaked on the webworld.
The Dark Horse is basically the same Indian Chief that is currently available in the market; however, the new blacked out theme will be on offer to distinguish it from the other Chiefs. The new exterior theme has further enhances the overall appeal of this retro motorcycle.
Going by the pictures, it is clearly visible that every part of the motorcycle is covered in a black shade, complemented by chrome strips on the front and rear fenders, chrome exhausts and chrome levers. Also on offered is the blacked-out V-twin engine.
The black alloys and tyres replace the current wire-spoked rims covered with white-walled tyres. Interestingly, the headlamp and front forks area are also features the same black shade. It misses out on the additional twin headlights that are placed on either side of the main headlamps.
The Indian Chief Dark Horse is powered by the same 1811cc, Thunderstroke motor that churns out 139Nm of torque, which is transmitted to the rear wheels by a 6-speed gearbox. Prices for the new Dark Horse will be announced at the launch in the Progressive International Motor Show in Chicago. India launch is expected by mid-2015.
