Citroen C3 (Tata Punch Rival) New Interior Images Released

Citroen had revealed the new C3 subcompact car in India on September 16, 2021. The new model is scheduled to be launched in the country in the first half of 2022, most probably by March-April. The company has now released the new interior images of the Citroen C3.

The interior colour scheme for the South Korean model is significantly different from the India-spec model. The company claims that the new Citroen C3 has “large proportions, one of the best rear spaces, comfortable seats, practical places to store objects and a high driving position.”

The Citroen C3 is based on a simpler version of the CMP modular platform, which will also underpin the future Citroen cars for the Indian market. The new C3 measures under 4 meters in length, preciously at 3.98 meters. It comes with a ground clearance of 180mm, which is more than sufficient to tackle Indian road conditions. The new compact car offers 315-litres of boot space, and the segment-leading 1 litre of glove box. The new Citroen C3 is claimed to have a small footprint, and offers a small turning radius of 10 metres. However, it is claimed to offer segment-leading interior space along with several cubby holes to carry things.

Citroen said that it will offer close to 78 customisation options with the new C3, which includes chrome parts, a choice of up to 8 seat covers, function equipment for the sound system, protective features and others.

The new Citroen C3 sub-4 meter model comes equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which will have wide connectivity features. It will have voice command along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The model has 3 USB ports for fast charging and a 12V socket. The company’s focus is to built an ideal cabin for integration with cell phones. The new model will have stratgic places in the console to fix the device, a couple of them near the AC vents and one in the centre.  The new model is likely to be offered with two engine options – a 81bhp, 1.2L naturally-aspirated petrol and a 100bhp, 1.2L turbocharged petrol.
