The French automaker, Citroen is currently selling two models – the C3 compact hatchback and the C5 Aircross SUV. While the former is locally developed, the C5 Aircross comes as a CKD (Completely Knocked Down). The company will launch the new electric version of the Citroen C3 hatchback, called the eC3 in January, 2023.
With the beginning of the 2023, Citroen India has announced a price hike for the C3 cross-hatchback and the C5 Aircross mid-size SUV. The price hike came into effect on January 1st and is applicable to the entire variant line-up.

The company has increased prices of the all C3 variants uniformly by Rs 10,000. This is the second price hike the C3 hatchback has received since its launch. The hatchback is now available in the price bracket of Rs 5.98 lakh to Rs 8.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
It is available in two trims – Level and Feel – and the latter comes with customisations and accessories packs. It is offered with two engine options – a 82PS, 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and a 110PS, 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual with NA unit and a 6-speed manual with turbo unit.

The Citroen C5 Aircross midsize SUV is now pricier by Rs 50,000. The updated model was first introduced in 2022. The SUV is available in a single Shine variant, which is now priced at Rs 37.17 lakh.
It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that is capable of producing 177bhp of power and 400Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via an 8-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. It offers multiple drive modes and traction modes.
